Having listened to this recording again today, I've realised it doesn't nearly do it justice.
Right before I recorded this audio blog, the sky was absolutely filled with the constant noise of huge explosions. The sky was alight with colour. It reminded me of the footage that CNN likes to show whenever the US goes to war.
